Making a Lot out of a Little
This was the first Q4 holiday season, after paring down our product offering to focus solely on photo books. We had to figure out a way to generate enough content to create a full catalog, showcasing our breadth of customizing options for one product. I was tasked with providing informational messaging with an inspirational tone, all within a holiday theme.
Opportunity in a New Place
Part of the new marketing strategy at this time was to go after semi-professional photographers. Click Magazine was the perfect place to advertise ourselves and reach a readership that fit the bill. The first ad served as an awareness piece, messaging MyPublisher quality, value and ease-of-use. The second piece promoted our higher-end Premium Albums, and served as a way us to further distinguish ourselves from our sister brand, Shutterfly, Inc.
MyPublisher at a Glance
For the many events and trade shows we attended, it was important to have marketing collateral to prospects and potential affiliates. The ask was to design and write a generic brochure that provided a broad look at who we are, while highlighting some of our bestselling features and accessories.
Delivering Our Message
The concept for this campaign was about all the reasons to use Seamless, and encouraging customers to use the hashtag, #1001reasons, to share theirs. We took one of the reasons, getting exactly what you're craving, your "food match," and used real tweets to support it. And as Seamless positions itself as the easiest way to get food, we ensure to always include that message.
While You're Out and About
We took the campaign outside, making sure to place our ads in high-traffic areas.
Mixing Business with Hunger
We were targeting our prospective businesses, who would be at the Demo Theater Presentation, encouraging them to open a corporate Seamless account. With a catchy headline, some tasty looking images, and a few selling points, we were growing our business with theirs.
